Get ready for a movie night celebrating the quirky genius of the Coen brothers! We're featuring two of their most beloved and hilarious films:
First up, we're heading to the Depression-era South with O Brother, Where Art Thou? Join a trio of escaped convicts on a madcap search for treasure, filled with colorful characters, bluegrass tunes, and a touch of Homer's Odyssey.
Then, we're shifting gears to modern-day Arizona with Raising Arizona. This fast-paced, irreverent comedy follows a bumbling ex-con and his wife as they decide to "borrow" a baby from a wealthy family. Expect mayhem, memorable lines, and Nicolas Cage at his most... energetic.

What a night! Our first backyard movie night of the year was absolutely perfect, filled with good company, a fantastic film, and more food than I probably should have attempted!
It was such a joy to spend the evening with all you lovely folks, especially those who traveled from quite far (and brought some delicious treats!). I know you enjoyed the cinematic journey as much as I did. We kicked things off with the epic tale of The Count of Monte Cristo, a sweeping adventure that had us all on the edge of our seats. Everyone was so taken in by the magic that we decided to call it a night after that one, letting the thrilling tale of Edmond Dantès be the perfect cap to our first cinematic gathering.
But hey, now we can save Princess Bride for next year!
